Sacre — DJ / Sonic Curator
Sacre is the artistic alias of Matt MacPhee, a Hanoi-based DJ and sonic curator known for emotionally immersive sets blending psychedelic house, leftfield electronic, deep groove, acid textures, cosmic disco, ambient soundscapes, and underground global rhythms.
Influenced by years spent throughout Canada, Latin America, Australia, and Southeast Asia, Sacre’s performances are built as evolving journeys rather than conventional club sets. His sound reflects both the underground spirit of Asia’s emerging electronic movement and the cinematic storytelling style of modern experiential festivals.
Now active throughout Vietnam and the broader Asia-Pacific region, Sacre has become associated with underground festivals, warehouse events, jungle gatherings, art collectives, rooftop sessions, river cruises, and immersive nightlife experiences connecting local and international creative communities.
Beyond DJing, Sacre contributes to:
Festival concept development
Underground music programming
Artist curation
Experiential branding
Creative direction
Music-driven community building
Emerging Asia electronic culture
His performances are designed to create atmosphere, tension, release, and emotional connection — transforming dancefloors into shared cultural experiences.
